NCAA rules committee could change targeting suspensions
The NCAA Football Playing Rules Committee is expected to consider changes to the targeting rule during its annual meeting this week. The Athletic reports the committee could propose to “remove the carryover suspension part of the punishment for first-time offenders on second-half targeting penalties.”
