Bruce Springsteen was a surprise guest at an anti-ICE concert in Minneapolis led by Tom Morello and Rise Against on Friday afternoon.
The 68th annual Grammy Awards show is slated for this Sunday, February 1st, and there are some very deserving country nominees, as well as performers, that will be taking the stage throughout the evening.
Springsteen, 76, then pivoted to condemnation, urging the audience inside the Count Basie Center for the Arts to stand against the Trump administration’s deployment of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers in American cities, particularly in Minneapolis.
“Well they blew up the Chicken Man in Philly last night…” Return with Bruce Springsteen to the stark themes and landscapes of his 1982 album, performed in Nebraska Live just as he originally recorded it, with a guitar and a mic and harmonica neck rack.
