You heard me say “collocation” in the reel. Collocations are two-word combinations that sound perfect together, like ‘fair weather’ and ‘delicious food’. In the western usage, owing to the scattered family structure, ‘fulfil’ is mainly used as an adjective collocation (combination) with ‘relation’, etc. ( a fulfilling marriage; a fulfilling relation, etc.). However, the family ties in our eastern context are somewhat stronger. So we manoeuvre the adjective “fulfilling” into the verb “fulfil” to
